The attack was a retaliation from a 2007 physical attack in Midtown Manhattan of Fletcher upon Rosemond’s teenage son, outside his Czar Management offices. The manager to Game, Gucci Mane, and others was convicted for his role in the murder in December 2014. Brian McCleod and Derrick Grant testified that they murdered Fletcher for one kilogram of cocaine, with two associates of Rosemond’s watching. In 2014, Game’s manager James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond was accused-with five other men-in ordering the murder of Fletcher.
In his post, 50 Cent mentioned Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher, an associate of Fif, Tony Yayo and other G-Unit members, who was murdered in the Bronx, New York in 2009.
HipHopDX, in their reporting, took the following screenshot of the post that has since been deleted: Yesterday (February 18) 50 Cent, a mentor to Banks, and employer-turned-nemesis of Game, spoke out on Instagram about why the photograph is not something to celebrate. Game and Lloyd Banks were photographed together in Dubai- with Game’s caption “still.” Lloyd, who is still in the group alongside 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, Young Buck, and Kidd Kidd, had reportedly not been photographed with his former band-mate and label-mate in 11 years. This week, two critical members of the early 2000s G-Unit group reunited.
